The Edo-Tokyo Open Air Museum

The Edo-Tokyo Open Air Museum is a haven for architecture lovers. This outdoor museum is comprised of numerous historical buildings ranging from private residences to stores allowing guests to experience the homes of the wealthy and powerful.

This outdoor museum has everyday buildings such sento (public baths), pre-war shops, and Western-style buildings. One such building is a cafe which is reminiscent of Satuski’s and Mei’s house.

The park is located in Koganei and is divided into three zones. The west is a farm house, the center is a historic building, and the east zones in a downtown area. These shops while open and not open for shopping, but I think there is a ramen shop in the downtown area that is open for business.

This park is also very popular during the cherry blossom season.
