Syntagma Square
After the harrowing ride and conversation with the police in regards to stolen property, we arrived at the hotel.
It was a nice place, I did not stay long. Just long enough to drop off my bags, send a text, and then head to Syntagma Square via the metro.
Once there I felt light. I had made it to my destination. While waiting for my friends and soon-to-be family. For, I had decided to adopt them. Why not? I gazed about the square taking the scent of orange blossoms and chestnuts.
I eventually located the source of the chestnuts. A bought a cone from a lady selling them in the square.
The trees were easy to find as they lined the area. Their branches were heavy with fruit that perfumed the air mixing with the scent of pine. I would later find out that they were ornamental and thus could not be eaten. Only their scent was to be enjoyed.
